Job Description:

The AV Warehouse Administrator will manage the day-to-day operations of our audio-visual warehouse. Responsibilities include overseeing inventory management, coordinating shipments, and ensuring the efficient handling of AV equipment and supplies. This role demands excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

 

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in warehouse management or logistics is advantageous.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in warehouse administration, inventory management, or a related field.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of audio-visual equipment and technology.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory and documentation.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
  • Certification: Forklift certification is a plus.
  • Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License with no DUI violations.

Knowledge:

  • AV Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with audio-visual equipment, components, and supplies.
  • Inventory Control: Understanding of inventory control methods and best practices.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
  • Safety Standards: Awareness of safety standards and regulations related to warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records for AV equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • Shipment Coordination: Oversee the receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming shipments.
  • Organization: Ensure inventory is properly labeled and organized for easy retrieval and distribution.
  • Equipment Tracking: Monitor and document equipment usage, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Documentation: Prepare and process shipping and receiving documents, including packing lists, invoices, and shipping labels.
  • Vendor Coordination: Work with vendors and suppliers to schedule deliveries and pickups.
  • Inventory Audits: Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Event Preparation: Assist in preparing equipment for events and projects, ensuring all necessary items are available and in good condition.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, following safety standards and best practices.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned.
